I have reached a whole new level of crafty dorkiness. I made felt balls…and I liked it. When Bunny saw my first felt ball on the counter she exclaimed “Oh Mom good job!” I had to give her a second look because her tone was so excited that I thought she was making fun of me. But no she was genuinely excited. I’m both proud and frightened at the same time. If you are wondering what they are for, they are the centers for my felted wool flower hair bows. I am obsessed with making felted wool flowers. Bunny’s been selling them out of her dance bag to all her ballerina friends.
Wow, see now it wouldn’t even occur to me to learn how to do such a thing. Your crafty dorkiness dances circles around me and my non-crafty cluelessness. But they are cute and everything in the Etsy store is gorgeous (was doing some pre-shopping again this afternoon). Brilliant to have Bunny carrying some in her dance bag – definitely have both girls wearing/displaying those whenever they can, you never know who you might run across that will ask about and want some! And I love Bunny, I really do – remind her of that, cause she’s a sweetheart!
